Exploring the Essence of Posse: A Spotlight on Mario Van Peebles Review

This film has already been rated 4.5 stars. I suspect the only reason it's not five stars is the mostly black cast. This is a near-perfect film of the kind rarely made.

I got this as a Christmas present for a friend and he loved it! He was born in the late 80's so never saw it and didn't know there was a movie about African Americans being made in the Wild West! As a historian and soldier, he was blown away by this film! As for the film itself, I've seen it many times and it's worth seeing. The price is right, the foil is in top condition. It was sold by an outside bookseller. I would buy from this third party anytime.

Dopest Wokest Western Ever. There is nothing amazing about this film. There is a story that is not taught in school. It features the sneaky Billy Zane with an eye patch that looks like a pirate. It's thrown in Big Daddy Kane, Ton Lok, Isaac Hayes, the timeless Pam Grier and even brother Baldwin to comic relief. He's got a Gatlin gun! I liked the western. Let's assume it's based on a true story. Entertaining, but maybe a little contrived, just my opinion. Still very entertaining.
