Review on 🚽 Brondell FS-10 FreshSpa Easy Bidet Toilet Attachment - Convenient White Upgrade by Terry Gernes

Works well, looks unattractive

Installation: Easy except requires a new toilet seat. Comes with good equipment. The product is not compatible with some modern plastic seats: these seats bend under the rim of the bowl and interfere with the knee of the nozzle of this product, which wants to be in the same place. I had to buy a new flat bottom seat, an unexpected expense that didn't sit well with me. It is recommended to glue rubber bumpers to raise the front of the seat. As they restore the seat level, the seat gets higher. Overlays are installed over existing seat bumpers, increasing their height by 2x. The seam between two stacked bumpers is unsightly, harder to clean, and attracts toilet dirt over time. I am not satisfied with this either. See attached photo Product performance: Good. Does what it's supposed to if you ignore the self-cleaning feature. The tilt/spot function of the nozzle is great and the water flow is easy to control. Prior to this model, I returned the (better looking) Luxe Bidet Neo 120 because it was pointing at the wrong spot and the target wasn't adjustable. Self-cleaning function: Poor. As you can see in the attached image, the self-cleaning water jets are parallel to the nozzle, so they don't actually flush anything out of the nozzle. It's like the company never tried to use the feature they created. Style: Bad, Ugly and Clumsy. This product reminds me of medical home appliances from the 1970's - a product where the style is out of the budget and it doesn't matter as the customer wants it and doesn't have a lot of choice. The mounting bracket is large, chunky, and has huge dirt-attracting gaps that are difficult to clean. Many toilet seats have a standard screw pattern - why can't this be done with this product? The control box is too big and square. The Luxe Bide handles better with its Neo 120 and the mounting bracket is slim and sleek - too bad the aim isn't adjustable. Even Brondell does it better in style: the controls on their built-in toilet seats look way better. Every time I go to the bathroom I hate looking at her. every time See attached photos and judge for yourself.
