I really like this purse. When I received it it didn't have a bad smell like most things when it comes to wallets etc. But it's not real leather. That's more plastic skin. But I like it anyway. I have a little problem with my phone in my pocket. If it's not placed quite right, it's difficult to use the phone through the clear plastic piece. But I'm still happy with this wallet. Of course, I've had it not long ago and I've only been out a few times, so my rating is based solely on how I smell the handbag, how my stuff fits in it, and how you hold the handbag after a lot of use. I honestly can't say. But I'm excited and very happy with it. By the way I ended up with what I would call auburn and it is that color but on the brown side of the auburn spectrum. I love that this color goes with almost everything I wear.
