Bought a heavy size Cali King. The length of the boards is not very consistent, which was a small issue. They had to fit my frame perfectly, judging by the size. I checked. But instead, about every fourth board is too short and the rest are 1/4-1/2 inch too long. Easy fix if you have a saw. Not me. The smell of wood is VERY fresh and strong. As an asthmatic, I had an asthma attack when I opened the box. There is a strong smell of sawdust, but the boards themselves are smooth. No split edges. Arrived on time. The package was good. This fixes the finish that was causing the corner of my mattress to droop over the edges. So when you lie down on the bed, the entire corner of the mattress (halfway from the bed to the footboard) falls under the frame. The frame bars are spaced 3 inches apart at the edges and 7 inches apart at the bottom of the bed. These boards fit perfectly between each bar, adding stability that the frame didn't offer. Apart from the fact that the boards are of different lengths, I am 100% satisfied. Just don't open them on the edge of the bed. I dropped each SLINKY STYLE onto my foot. :l Not a cool guy but not the company's fault.
