Sensor takes about 30 seconds to activate
When I first installed it, it did not appear to work -- I placed my finger over the sensor, for example, but the light did not come on. I discovered that the light WILL come on, but the sensor does not trigger the on switch for about 30 seconds. My guess is this is to avoid false triggering.I really like the bright white light. Not bluish and not yellowish.This is a good front or back door light. Don't expect it to illuminate brightly an entire back yard. Works well as a door area light.
