Well, when I stumbled across it, I was totally amazed. I thought this would be perfect for my home playroom. It's a fantastic product so far, it's just that installation instructions are almost non-existent. I'm not an experienced electrician, but I like making things with my hands. No education or work experience, just an ordinary handyman. It took me a while to figure out which wires connect to what and I've read mixed reviews. I've seen a salesman say "It doesn't matter what you connect it to". I wasn't so sure, but did some research. My light came with brown and blue cord. I've read that brown is usually hot and blue is usually neutral. I had a russet wire on my ceiling so it was really confusing. I ended up connecting the brown to MY overhead red wire and the blue to MY overhead brown wire. Works well, only there is a slight delay of about 1 second when switching on. I'm still not sure why, but it seems to be working fine for now. You can change the light from daylight white to warmer white if you don't want to use RGB (it offers several different colors). Yes, it can be used as a normal light. The sound is not bad and can easily cover a normal sized room. No, you cannot connect more than one using the same remote control. They don't sync. The hardest part is installing it because it just doesn't tell you how to do it. Again, this should be installed by an electrician or an EXPERIENCED and confident person. Show respect and take your time. Once installed you will love it. I'm giving it four stars because it really is an amazing light once you plug it in. 1 star deducted for poor instructions. I would also use the remote instead of the app as it seems more reliable. RGBS will not shift to music without APP version, but it requires using your phone. I connected the speaker to my iPhone 10 in about 2 seconds and I'm streaming from YouTube. I hope this review helps others like me who were VERY interested in this light. I've attached a video to give you an idea of the sound. I have the volume about half, nothing special.
