but this is not a perfect solution. I'm not sure if /is/ is the ideal.

These keep and keep the gloves drier than before. It helps with the "gym smell," but it's not a perfect solution. I'm not sure if /there/ is an ideal solution. I box occasionally and the gloves just smell bad. I use hand bandages, disinfectant after using them and now this after spraying the disinfectant. They smell/less/bad (I think) and of course I'm happier that they keep the gloves from getting wet so they do what I want them to do and stand up to use. Just don't expect them to fix the whole problem. .
