Bought this chair for my drafting table (I have an Alvin Ensign drafting table) Pros: -Easy assembly! The hardest part was putting the wheels on the base (it was very inconvenient trying to keep the wheels from sliding by putting them in the socket) - very handy! I draw very long hours (8+ hours on weekends, with a 15-30 minute break every 2 hours) - Lightweight - Easy to carry - Nice design! I was drawn to the aesthetic and it didn't disappoint - CHEAP! This chair is so cheap, definitely a lot better quality than I expected for the price. Disadvantages: - strong odor: it smells strongly of degreaser or fuel. The smell has dissipated over the past few days but was quite strong when first opened. Too short for a drafting table, much better for a computer table. I have to put my table on the lowest level so it's at the right height and on the lowest level it won't lay flat. It works for now, but I might buy a "desk chair" later and just keep it for my computer work station.
