I had an older Volkswagen Motive bleeder and other threaded brake fluid reservoirs so I had to change the bottle cage. Early bottles have a spigot on the fitting (male) that is cast into the bottle rather than a threaded brass sleeve. So cut off the threaded bush, take a small clamp and put it on. The bottle held the pressure perfectly and worked as usual. Now I can switch from threaded brake fluid master cylinders to three pistons!
