Review on The Nimble Thimble Co. Small Thimble, Black by Lori Aguirre

I knit. I like to keep a few of these on hand for my public knitting. This is not my favorite leather thimble, but it can be replaced if I lose it. I went through a few of them mostly due to wear and tear. I can't say this is a bad product, it's just that knitting is not the purpose it was designed for and it shows. What happens is that when I'm knitting and I'm constantly pressing the needle with my finger, the metal tip of the needle comes into contact with a small metal disc that sits between the layers of skin. Eventually, the pressure weakens the layers and the metal pushes through them, after which the entire thimble begins to fall apart. Again, the thimble isn't a knitting thing, so I can't complain. By the way, if you have long nails, this thimble has a nail slot in the right place. This is a very comfortable thimble as long as it stays on.
