Not the same quality as before

I bought them because I've bought them before and had success with them. This batch I bought in July 2017 was awful. Plastic tips break after first use. We find these little onions all over the tub after washing our daughter's hair after dance class. Actually I find them everywhere. And they look like little bugs. Enough to collect bobby pins everywhere, but now the tips of the bobby pins too?! Who needs it!?!
