Yes indeed - the bulb was mailed in a padded envelope. I'm amazed anyone thought it would come to my house working. Of course not. He was dead on arrival. Sent back for a refund. Went to a local store to buy a replacement. My 5 year old granddaughter could understand that a lightbulb wouldn't survive the journey in an envelope.
