For me it was more of a spontaneous purchase; I didn't need it but I was too intrigued by the idea of having a portable oven in my pocket so I bought one. I tried it and it was love at first bite! This is amazing stuff. I put some leftover foil wrapped chicken wings on setting 6 for 30 minutes and they came out hot, tasty and the perfect texture. No burning, no dry or hard spots; just perfect, warm food. I'm going to put steak and onions in it and I can't wait to try all sorts of new things. Half the fun with this little oven is experimenting with all the possibilities and watching it cook different dishes. It comes with a leaflet that is easy to understand and follow, giving you a general idea of how to prepare some of the main courses and at what level. But a lot depends on the user and imagination, especially if you want to get creative. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come with the little oven mitts or foil sheets mentioned in many reviews but to be honest the reviews only mentioned it for the smaller 90w version and not my 120v -model not complain. It comes with a nice shoulder strap and is perfect for taking with you everywhere or just tinkering around at home. I recommend this item, it's really great.
