They are great for my thin and fine hair. At first I was worried they would pull my hair since they look like rubber bands, but they are surprisingly slippery and come off easily. They're so slippery that it can be difficult to hold onto, but I just keep wrapping them around my hair until they're tight enough to hold. They are also surprisingly durable. I broke a few, but there's almost an infinite supply of them in the pack, so it doesn't matter. I'm sure I lost more than I broke. Given their surprisingly good glide and longevity, it would be asking too much that they are also very resilient. They are less elastic than rubber bands, but elastic enough. It can be difficult to stretch them far. So if I stretch them to a certain limit I think I'll break them, but I manage and they very rarely break. In short, they work great.
