I'm actually very impressed. I was just looking for a quirky, fun, elasticated mesh belt to wear with high waisted casual outfits. I took a chance and ordered both black and brown because I thought they were so cute! I figured for $5.99 it's not a big loss if they suck. ME. TELL. YOU. No, ma'am. It does NOT suck. You are very good! When I opened the packaging, the first thing I felt was the smell of genuine leather. I don't think it was listed in the description but the parts of the belt that I assumed were faux leather is actually very soft real leather. The stitching and iridescent enamel were immaculate, especially on the brown belt! The black had some less than perfect enamel work, but we're talking a deep Sherlock Holmes-level inspection to see it. They attach easily but securely. The opening isn't so loose that you don't have to worry about popping out too many fries or deep breaths, but it's not difficult to get on and off either. model number engraved on both buckles; That tells me they care about QC. The belt doesn't feel light or cheap, but it's also not so heavy that the buckle falls forward and looks wobbly. If you wear a lot of belts, you know exactly what I mean. There is a "Goldilocks factor" that will help you find the right weight. After all, these belts have everything in abundance. for $5.99! I get a cheetah footprint too! These belts are a bit reminiscent of something Alejandro Michele designed for Gucci's more casual streetwear line. At least in my mind. For less than $6, you probably need this in a few different colors. giggle
