I looked at many different projectors before settling on this one. Ultimately, my decision was based on the price versus the advertised lumens - 8500L. I don't know how lumens are measured but the number was higher than others and I was hoping this machine would be bright enough for backyard movies. After trying the projector I can say that it exceeds my expectations. My backyard has light from my neighbors but the projector was able to create a great open air theater. I'd love to connect with a cable, but the ability to connect wirelessly is a great feature! Don't expect much from the included "screen" but it works. At least there is something I can project onto other than the wall of my house.
