They are super soft, but my foot just kind of moves all over the place in this sandal, not because they are too wide, but because they have no support. They are actually too narrow for my foot, but I didn't order wife's because men's shoes usually fit wider. The arch is non-existent and by the end of the first day when I wore them all day my arches and legs hurt. I'm sure they're fine if you don't need arch support or maybe if you're a tiny person.
