This is a quality coffee grinder. The bob's top latch is a one-piece metal housing that contains shaft spacers. Very accurate and durable. The crankshaft and the millstone appear to be made of steel and, thanks to some bearings, turn very precisely. Real burrs are hard and very sharp. They look like traditional style ridges. If I had to guess, most of these grinders are very similar to the very well analyzed Helor 101. The grind quality was pretty good and it was easy to find the right grind for both the espresso and my Hario V60 single cup. The only drawback is the graduated click mechanism for adjusting the degree of grinding. The actual click seemed a bit cheap. In fact, I had issues with the grinder slipping out of the settings I put it in. I was very disappointed with this as the rest of the grinder is great. Maybe you have better luck!
