I was afraid because it's so cheap, but after a few weeks I'm very satisfied with this mill. I have used several different hand grinders. I'm older and I like the exercise. It is by far the easiest to use. I use it for my Breville and Flair espresso machines. Great grinder for espresso. I grind different roasts a few times a day, it's super quick, easy to dial in. Easy to clean. Highly recommended.

Because nobody has the right to sell this work of art for less than $100. This majestic coffee grinder easily costs twice as much, if not more. It lies beautifully in my hands and grinds your beautiful high-end hipster beans like butter. It's very similar in form and function to the $260 Helor 101. I grind 60 grams of light/medium beans and it takes two hopper fills. Stop looking back at lame grinders under $100 and order this one now. You will not regret it.

This was my first manual coffee grinder as I've been making more coffee in a French Press lately. I wanted a manual coffee grinder with a metal grinder. I also wanted it to work well for coarse grinds and this one delivers. I have found that 30 clicks to the left works well for French press brews (see images for 10, 20 and 30 click grinds). This is a quality coffee grinder. The bob's top latch is a one-piece metal housing that contains shaft spacers. Very accurate and durable. The crankshaft and the millstone appear to be made of steel and, thanks to some bearings, turn very precisely. Real burrs are hard and very sharp. They look like traditional style ridges. *UPDATED REVIEW* After using the grinder for a few weeks and initially liking it a lot, my opinion of it changed dramatically. The dial, which controls the grind (and also acts as the nut holding the shaft, spring and burrs together) keeps slipping when it's near the coarsest settings.
