Works great and doesn't block the second USB port unlike some other card readers. When I used my last card reader, I had to remove everything connected to the port next to it. My laptop recognizes this immediately when plugged in, so dragging and dropping files is very fast. Update: I've had it for over a month now and I really like it. I use it often as I have a wildlife camera that captures photos and videos of birds and squirrels in my yard. So I don't lose it when not in use as it's so small I bought this cute zippered memory card case. It sits behind my laptop on my laptop stand. When I use this, I take off the cap and put it in my wallet. Definitely get one of these if you don't have it on your desk or somewhere else where you can easily put it in a storage box.
