I found an unexpected use for it. I don't like carrying my entire wallet around the house, so I usually just carry my phone with me, which is easily detached from part of the wallet. The phone's case is magnetic, so I can easily stick it to the fridge when I'm looking for recipes, to the washing machine while I'm listening to music and folding clothes, or to any other metal surface. I doubted the magnet would be kept safe. The phone is in the wallet but seems to hold up perfectly even if dropped.
