This mailbox has a great look and is the perfect size for letters, magazines, smaller thin boxes and even larger flexible packages. I bought it for my Mom since we had her delivery method approved for porch delivery. (She's in a condo and all mail goes to a specific area and she is unstable to walk longer distances by herself.) My Mom is very happy she can reach out her door and get her own mail everyday! Especially her audio books and QVC packages (LOL), which are larger in size and still fit nicely in the mailbox. My Uncle installed it and said it was very simple. We are all satisfied with this item and highly recommend it. Note: There is no lock on this but we didn't need that feature and the red flag did not come with the mailbox, I bought that separate.
