I'm slim, about 1.6m tall and this suit fits me perfectly. I bought this suit for two reasons: to better cope with the colder waters of Northern California and to protect myself from the sun while fishing and surfing. The surf was pretty intense so I just went waist deep in the water. No cold shock, the suit has worked great so far and kept me comfortable. I also have very fair skin and the UV protection was perfect with no burns. The fit is great, I don't need to stretch so can't really comment on the stretch. The materials and construction are good and I would recommend it to others. Just be careful that this material is thin so make sure you order the material that is the right thickness for the temperature of the water you intend to play in. This suit is perfect for warm or slightly cool water when playing on the beach.
