Review on Reliable Pack of 3 Cooper-Atkins Bi-Metal Oven Thermometer: Accurate 100 to 600°F Temperature Range by Tim Roby

I thought my oven thermostat was broken so I took this to see what was really going on. It turns out that my oven just takes a very long time to preheat and doesn't get up to temperature when the preheat is complete. Now I can see when it has actually reached the right temperature. Others (Cook's Illustrated and some of the reviewers here) have tested it and found it correct, which is what matters most to me. There are two small downsides. First, it's a bit small so you might need to squint a little to read the numbers if you have poor eyesight. Second, while I can hang it on a rack in my oven, the cutout it hangs from is too small to sit properly on the oven rack bars, so it just sits there. If anything goes wrong I will update this review.
