Solid stuff. But once you've tightened the mounting screws enough to hold it in place, you'll remember the cap on the dimmer causing it to not snap properly when it clicks. Spent my money on this and almost lost the switch, luckily when I pulled it off there was no more pressure on the switch cover, it clicked free and switched back on. I recommend installing with just a rubber ring or something similar to ensure even pressure on the switch cover. Otherwise, do as I do. I used it on a 12v rubber cigarette lighter plug on the dash as an accessory to match my "Big Foot" pedal.
