This is the best incense burner I have ever had and I have tried many others! -- others did not collect the ashes, left a mess on the table and/or did not keep the incense stick in place. But this one does both. I've had issues with other burners, ash all over the table, or burned ends of incense sticks clogging the hole after a few uses - but no problem with that. It looks good and is easy to use. The incense sticks fit the hole perfectly and burn at the right angle, no mess, no ash on the table, beautiful. I use it every night. I'll admit I didn't use the "storage" part of this because I keep my incense sticks in a different box, but I'd recommend it as it's easy to use, doesn't make a mess, and the ash residue is easy to clean up. burner pan and I just sweep the ash in the trash.
