Ideal for incense sticks and incense holder

Not bad, but less than I expected. I don't know if my incense stick is unusually long or what, but it sticks out a bit over the edge. You can't burn more than one stick between ashes either, which annoys me for being lazy. The wood compartment is too small to put incense sticks in unless I snap/cut off the ends of the sticks, so it's no good for storing anything other than maybe a lighter. IDK is good enough and better than the box lid I've used before, but it could definitely be better.

I got this for my mum for mothers day and she loved it! This is the best incense burner I have ever had and I have tried many others! -- others did not collect the ashes, left a mess on the table and/or did not keep the incense stick in place. But this one does both. I've had issues with other burners, ash all over the table, or burned ends of incense sticks clogging the hole after a few uses - but no problem with that.
