I received my stool today. Estimated delivery time should take another 3 days but it arrived earlier which is a plus. The stool itself is leather, good quality and yes it smells like leather but it's not strong at all. You really have to pinch your nose like an inch to smell it. The color is as rich and same as the product image online. I can definitely attest to the whole pouf being handmade and professional. didn't know at first that this product is only the outer part and I have to fill the inner stool myself. But in the box they have something made to explain. So for me it's ok. I filled the stool with old clothes and it's all done and it's perfect. In terms of size, it is exactly the right size for me as a stool and can also be used as a stool. I am very happy with my purchase. Also, FYI I just saw this stool on sale at Westelm for $299 but I think it might be a finished stool. Either way, it's much better to save big!
