Yes there are others that can be 1% or 2% faster maybe some are a bit stiffer or lighter but this tire is great because it does everything beautifully. damn good. And it's cheap. And that 1% just doesn't matter to the average driver. And did I mention they are cheap? In hindsight much cheaper than many other offerings from other companies. Kenda is a great company, great customer service, good bike support and a quality product. I have 3300 miles on the front and about 1500 on the back of my kaliente pros and they are now getting a second life on a training bike. And that after hard kilometers, no fresh asphalt where I ride and some dirt, gravel and winter driving. With these tires I won my first road race and had several podium finishes. What more could I ask for?
