I bought this flashlight because I'm fishing for nightfish. The stern light that comes with my boat always bothers those fishing from behind. I mounted a light with a tether on a Yamaha 150 in case it wanted to fall at high speed, not even 55mph. It does its job well when its back is pushed out of the way and can be seen for miles. It's almost too bright light but it's behind the fisherman and doesn't affect the black lights, my partners are very happy with my choice! Again, it holds up well and doesn't try to deflate.
