First some definitions and answers to questions: 1) Does the chair (the whole chair, like a regular office chair) recline ? Yes .2) What is the Return to Motion feature? The seat and lumbar support (seen as a small cushion in the product photos) are a single piece hinged to the base. The whole thing (the part you sit on + the lumbar support) is on a weakly sprung hinge. By default, the lumbar support is pressed against the rest of the chair back, but when you straighten your legs, lean forward, or otherwise lower the front of the seat, the lumbar support moves forward, providing continued contact/support. . it's a bit strange but beautiful at the same time. The Good: * The chair itself is quite soft and comfortable overall, with adequate padding on the armrests, seat, and backrest. * It rolls smoothly. * Assembly was easy and pretty standard for an office chair. , also with "in motion" bits * The "return in motion" function provides constant and positive lumbar support. "Different, but not necessarily bad." , or if they're just different. I'll update the information later after I've had the chair for a while. The backrest function in motion is a bit strange overall: *Because the whole seat swivels (see video) I feel like I have to firmly position my folding chair to get you really comfortable *Also the front edge of the seat sits quite high, even in the lowest position of the seat when fully reclined. I'm 5'8" tall and depending on how much I lean back when moving, it's not always easy to fully touch the ground. Personally, I'm not uncomfortable with that, but it's at least important to note. Actually) Bad: * The armrests are too far out for my comfort They _work_ but it would be better if they were tilted inwards a bit , the moving back is a cool feature but maybe a little useless The chair itself is quite convenient.I will update this review in a few days (today is the second day) if I decide to keep or return it.
