Review on ๐Ÿš€ Pacesetter 754108 3.7L Front Catalytic Converter: Non-CARB Compliant - Quality Performance Upgrade by Mark Deuschle

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Worked great for 6 months then the cat stuff inside fell apart. Not worth the trouble or the money.

This part was a great replacement for the original cracked cast iron exhaust manifold. The sound isn't the same, it sounds metallic, not bad, but it sounds cheap. After about 10,000 miles and six months of driving, the catalytic converter material broke into pieces and completely clogged my tailpipe. Finally, Revain sent a free replacement (thanks to Revain for your great support). Pacesetter didn't honor her warranty directly, Revain had to use her "allotment" to send me a new one. Cat materials are guaranteed for 2 years and 24,000 miles. The body is much larger. The replacement is coming. Fingers crossed, better than the first. I noticed that the new one actually has a pacesetter on a nameplate welded on, while the first didn't have the pacesetter name. So maybe another party? If this one falls apart, I'll look for another parts supplier.
