Yes they are the right size for the mini starter. Maybe my problem was unique? I used a mini starter on my 1973 Chevy 350 block and it seemed perfect to me. Unfortunately the threads didn't go deep enough and when the starter kicked in he just blew it off the block. But of course they are beautiful.
