Review on Parisian Pet Christmas Holiday Shirts by Arlene Byrd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

We bought X Large for our mixed breed rescue dog. VERY happy with this product. Shop more Parisian Pet T!

I carefully measured our dog before choosing the right size. I decided the X Large was the closest. Our dog resembles a Jack Russell Terrier in size and shape. Her actual measurements (measured using the method shown in the listing): Neck 12 inches, body length from base of neck to base of tail 18 inches, chest 21 inches, measured just behind the front legs. 14" body 15" chest 21" FABRIC: I didn't see the fabric listed anywhere and it wasn't on the bag it came in, but there was a tag inside the shirt saying it was 100 % was cotton The fabric is very thick and thick I am VERY excited about the fabric EMBROIDERY AND COLOR: The embroidery is beautifully done The color is more green and red than the teal and pink in the listing picture but that is normal. They are a lovely soft color and they look more Christmassy anyway SIZE: As you can see in the photo the t-shirt fit her very well considering the extreme variation in sizes and shapes of different dogs it was a little snug around the neck but stretched a bit slightly, considering the measurements are for a 14" neck and our dog necks are only 12", if your dog has a 14" neck you might tighten that consider the following size as I don't think that she would be comfortable at all for a dog with a thicker neck than 12" inches. I especially didn't want the neck to be too big or she would chew on it so it was fine to be comfortable. It also fits her middle quite well, but the sizing is accurate and the next size up is 4 inches larger, so I'm going to stretch these ones a bit. I hope it keeps its size and shape after washing (if not I won't update this review). As soon as I put it on her (this was her first time wearing clothes), she took it in the form of, "Oh yeah, I wear clothes all the time." I figured we needed to get her used to that before she carries it to the family reunion on Christmas Eve, but there is no need to introduce it gradually. She seemed very comfortable in it and didn't take it off all evening (she always liked to bury herself in blankets and carry her around. My old t-shirt was with her, so I thought she might like it) Anyway, she seems to I liked it so much that now I'm thinking I'll buy her another one to wear more often and this one will look good for Christmas. I love the other Parisian Pets design that says "It's cool with a shirt, who does pants" Cute!
