The non-adjustable armrests are hard plastic, so you might not find them very comfortable. It takes about 15-20 minutes to fully assemble the chair. Well-written guide.3. The chair can be adjusted from 17.5 to 22.5 inches in height (about 44-57 cm). The maximum load is 250 pounds. A detailed overview is as follows: 1. Packing: The product comes in a cardboard box measuring approximately 24 x 58 x 65 cm (10 x 23 x 26 inches). There is nothing special about the packaging of this product, from the outside the packaging doesn't look that protective. In fact, mine came with a deformed corner. "Product origin from China" is written on the packaging. 2. Tools needed: (1) scissors (or utility knife) to cut through the box and (1) hex wrench included. .3. Open the box: In the package, the back support is wrapped in bubble wrap, and the other components are in a regular plastic bag. Although the box was warped, none of the components were damaged. Each group of assembly parts (screws, washers) is in separate ziplock bags with a highly identifiable letter to help locate components later during the assembly process. The instructions are well written with clear descriptions and diagrams making the assembly steps easy to follow. It also comes with multiple languages (English, French, Spanish and Chinese). If you've seen IKEA's instructions (which assumes you're a DIY enthusiast) then you'll really appreciate these assembly instructions. These instructions were obviously written by American engineers  b. The assembly steps are so logical that I was able to easily assemble the parts. Tips for you: (1) Use the packaging bubble wrap and other plastic bags as the mounting surface to avoid scratching the chair components or your house floor. (2) Tighten the screws hand-tight only. DO NOT overtighten the screws. (3) Before sitting on a newly assembled chair for the first time, make sure that the chair is assembled correctly by checking that all screws are tight.5. Bottom Line: This chair is good for the price. The mesh back support isn't really designed for ergonomics, but seems solid enough for its design intent. The chair height adjustment works well, I measured and the chair can be adjusted in height from 17.5 to 22.5 inches (about 44-57 cm). The backrest can also be tilted forwards or backwards as desired.
