Although I received compensation for the review, it doesn't matter. Still, the build quality and great functionality would have made me give the same recommendation. Although I smoked a pipe, then cigars and then cigarettes when I was young, I don't allow myself to do that anymore. These lighters work well with all three, but they also work well for a variety of uses around my farm, from burning combustible garbage, starting a fire in my wood stove, to lighting a propane torch to kill weeds and cacti, wherever I live. Useful for non-smokers and even as part of a survival kit in tough times. I should add that the clever cigar stop feature on these lighters may come in handy for cigar smokers in need. a brief, safe place to sit while they fill their glass of single malt whiskey, cognac or bourbon. I was impressed with these lighters and am glad I have them.
