When I came across this article I was looking for a relatively inexpensive power steering reservoir for my SUV. I don't really care about red color but I didn't want to pay the extra $40 for black. Another review mentioned that the product was cheaply made and the welds were terrible. The product I received had very good welds and looked good together. The price of 40.00 is, in my opinion, sufficient for what it is. There are 3 things that keep it from a higher view. 1.) Hose connections are cheap. They feel like plastic or very cheap aluminum. I think replacing them with stainless steel or brass would be a significant upgrade. Although they look detachable. 2.) Your connections are not at the bottom of the tank. They are lower than many other aftermarket items, but there is about a half inch gap between the bottom of the tank and the hose fittings, creating a pocket that really shouldn't be there. 3.) The mounting bracket screws directly into the top and is a grommet rather than a welded eyelet that keeps the tank sealed. Overall I think the product will suffice for my needs and the points above are more for Mishimoto than ideas to improve the product. The price of 40.00 is also very fair for a versatile product like this.
