Remains purple DURING brushing

I've used it a few times and noticed a slight lightening. It cleans really well but the only thing I don't really like is the smell. This is a very strong mint and I prefer the milder mint for toothpaste. I will say this is the second purple toothpaste I have received. And unlike the first one, I can SEE purple while brushing. The other just turned into bubbles. Definitely better quality than my first!
