My girlfriend started losing weight for the first time in her life after she joined Weight Watchers and opened her heart to salads and we all wanted to support each other in that, but the change was bringing these salad cutters/cutters into our lives . The damn things work, but they have one insane design flaw (both theirs and the competitor brand's) that no one mentions in the reviews: the little spring that controls the entire mechanism has a habit of bouncing in the air when it meets the helicopter. and disappears somewhere in the kitchen. This is a fairly small source, its trajectory is uneven, and finding it is no small feat even if your kitchen is clean. And once it disappears, your very expensive helicopters become useless. After 3 pairs and a long crawl I went and took some dental floss, tied one end tightly to the spring itself and the other to the handle. And hooray, no more feathers. If I had to do it all over again, I might have put more effort into finding a line instead - somehow it seems like a little less depressing hypocrisy - but hey, it worked.
