Review on Powerful and Portable USB 2.0 Speaker: Frisby FS-210NU for Computer, Laptop, and Desktop by Athenasby Whitney

How much did these things cost? About the same as lunch? For the price they are perfect for the application: desktop speakers for very quiet listening while working. As mentioned in a million other reviews, they sound a bit tinny (slightly better than my MacBook Pro's speakers) and have absolutely no bass. I've compared to a similar offering from Creative (size/price, sorry don't know the model number) and the sound isn't much different (to my ears). They are much lower, look cooler. I like: the size! They almost disappear on my desk - an industrial design. Cool look and (again) inconspicuous - the price! Not enough to be decisive, but I don't like: - thin sound - very short cable. Speaker. There is no workaround for this.
