Doc is a 14 pound miniature short haired Dachshund. Its back is about 15 inches from the center of the neck to the base of the tail. Its chest is about 16 inches deep. I ordered X-Large for him and it fits him perfectly. I ordered it for photos for his birthday and was going to throw it in a drawer afterwards. But this thing is SO SOFT and feels quite warm. Instead of putting a sweater on him this winter I think I'll use it to put on him when we go for a walk and he's cold for a few days. It's very cute and I'm very happy with my purchase. It was theft. Just be sure to measure your pup before purchasing, it will save you the hassle of buying something that doesn't fit you.
