Update 04/3/20: I'm not sure what has changed about this case but its not as durable as it once was. I haven't had this one very long and the face plate has cracked in 4 places and its only had minor falls indoors. Very disappointing. Any flexing of the plastic border on the face plate causes it to crack. Its extremely brittle.This is my 4th Poetic case for my LG V40 so it's safe to say it worth coming back to. They offer fantastic all around protection and do not interfere with the screens functionality despite the curved edges. Its far better than using a standard case in combination with a separate glass screen protector. Ive dropped my phone so many times in this case and the phone itself remains in like new condition. Fits snug. Charger and aux ports function well. Im only on my 4th because 2 cases became too dirty for my liking and 1 case did crack after a particularly nasty fall on tile. It was still functional but annoyed me.There are only 3 cons I feel are worth noting. None of which are deal breakers for me.1. It is partially clear and debris does get under the case and it can end up looking pretty dirty sometimes but its easy to pop off and clean.2. Sometimes the cover for the USB charging port decides it just doesnt wanna sit flush anymore. I just cut it off. No biggie.3. If you purchase a light or colored bumper case it will stain fairly easy. I purchased the grey/pink combo 2x and within a couple months the edges of the grey bumper were stained badly from exposure to dyed fabric (purses, pant pockets.) Save yourself the frustration and buy the black one.
