Bought as a backup pair for work because I'm a licensed hairdresser. When my scissors are sharpened I need another pair for cuts. They are durable, have a good weight and feel solid for the price. I've used scissors a few times but just didn't feel they cut very precisely for my clients but great for home use. Now the thinners are amazing it's sad to have to send them back when I could just leave the thinners. In addition, they have a violet-blue iridescent oil film rather than a green color. My colleague ordered a similar pair and the same color as hers.
