Really cool shoes! Brings a more sophisticated style to my everyday wardrobe while still allowing me to skate. The upper is similar in style to Chelsea boots, but the cut is very cropped (the panel on the side sits right on my ankle) and the suede is very flexible, making it look like you're wearing a Vans mid-top jumpsuit introduce . The fabric on the side is very stretchy so combined with the tongues it was very easy for me to tuck my feet in. However, the shoes are admittedly narrow; I wear a size 8 on Converse, a size 8.5 on Vans and a size 9 on these shoes and they fit my feet well. Of course I haven't delivered them yet, but the process can be a journey. This is my first pair of Globe shoes and it's my first time wearing them and overall they've made a pretty good impression on me. I took my longboard for a test ride - maybe 30 minutes or so, doing some basic steps, no compliance and push variations, and they felt pretty good! The grip is great and the boardfeel is good, that's all there is to say haha. There wasn't even any noticeable fraying or anything, which I'm really happy about, but there are a few small creases from sizing up and the shoes ended up being longer than I normally wear. Regardless, I have a feeling this shoe will hold up pretty well, and I'll probably feel better breaking it in. All in all a good buy! Get it if you want to improve your style and skating.
