The most important thing is to have confidence in yourself, your product or idea so you can convince others as well - but also make sure they believe it too (they should be believers!). I think we were working together for about 4 months before our first live event was scheduled because of all my questions/concerns which lead me getting more advice from other partners at different times along this process than what one person could give during 1 meeting alone;) But once everything started moving forward things got easier since each participant had their own individual strengths when tackling problems throughout project development phase etc., eases communication between us both professionally AND personally made collaboration much easyer overall :).
