I like the quality of the red pillow covers and chose to wash them before using. I had intended to launder them separately, but one red cover accidentally ended up in a mixed load, mostly dark, along with one white cotton night shirt. I had placed two color catching sheets in with the wash as I sometimes do. The two color catcher sheets came out dark pink and the shirt is now pink also. All the white labels sewn into the other items are pink.I have no problem with the pillow covers otherwise. The laundered cover is still a red color and is not washed out looking. Just a warning to be be careful when laundering them. Also, my guess is that if you don’t wash them first, the color will rub off on your furniture.
