I've been using these fans and controllers since early November (about 5 months) and they work great! I am very happy with this facility. I bought them to cool my computer which is in a desk with a built in computer cabinet. The desk design does not allow airflow to the computer and this setup has been used in conjunction with a few other computer and desk modifications. My first impression of this product was after the packaging. The box for fans and controllers was shipped in another box with padding to prevent damage to the products in transit. When opening the packaging, the products are very clear and contain additional packaging material; very well thought out and securely placed so they can't move while being handled. The brushed metal finish looks great! Installation was easy; Both the fan box and the digital control box have plastic templates that help a lot with drilling and cutting. The kit includes fasteners as well as nuts and bolts and wood screws that can be used depending on the installation method. For my setup, the included wiring was a little long, but allows for a variety of mounting configurations. A few hooks to hold the wiring in place is all I need to tidy up the look. I leave my device on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and plugged in in the smart mode setting. The backlight can be set to stay on all the time or turn off automatically after a few seconds (I chose that setting). Everything works as I need it to, the fans are fairly quiet (they can run at full blast when viewing without noticing). This is a kit and counterfeit product type
