did not come with instructions, found 4 AAA batteries needed. Couldn't find where the sensor is connected. It took me some time to understand how it works. I'm not sure if I set it up correctly. It didn't seem to accurately track the temperature of the meat if it was added before cooking. When checking the meat after cooking, everything is fine
