So I was paranoid seeing all the reviews and complaints about how unreliable it is, how damaged it is, how parts don't change connect or close completely blah blah. I've also seen that the shelf sleeves that hold each shelf don't close completely. I looked online and at videos and then really thought about the design. Why do you want to close them completely? You know! The technique behind this is to create a firm pressure as the shelf falls under the weight of what you are stacking and the taper of each sleeve. If you had something big enough to completely cover each leg you wouldn't have that tightness and then you would have long term shelf collapse problems. It is this "fault" in manufacturing that makes this product very durable. Bottom line: don't believe the complaints. Buy this shelf today. See my picture as proof. Probably over £50 with only automotive tools and parts.
