Review on 🐾 Mountainsmith Dog Backpack by Buffy Foley

I really like this bag. One of the reasons I ordered it is my previous experience with Mountainsmith. I have two of their other backpacks (the lumbar and the larger one I used when I was studying abroad). They are well made and very durable - which is what I was looking for in a dog backpack. And I agree with many other reviewers. Order one size smaller than you think you need. I have a small Aussie mix for my dog. She weighs about 44 pounds. A backpack can hold a lot of stuff, but if you have a large water bottle (I have a 27 ounce bottle) it won't fit very well. I think I just need to use a smaller bottle. I wish there was a small zip pocket on the outside for a waterproof phone. Reaching into the inside pocket when the phone rings is a bit annoying. And like many other reviewers, I wish the straps had plenty of support, not material just covering the straps. Although my dog never seems to mind wearing it. She's happy when I put her on. Overall this is a great buy for the money. Mountainsmith really makes quality products.
